The Quickest Mindset Shift

Usually, when people feel stuck in life, they try to make a change. A change for the better to help them overcome a situation. Sometimes, the changes may not always have a favorable outcome or be successful. This doesn’t mean that they have to give up, just try again. Mastering this resilience doesn’t come overnight but with the right amount of effort and consistency, you can achieve a more positive mindset and outlook on life.

This can be as simple as replacing I HAVE to, with I GET to,

We often approach daily life with statements such as, “I have to go to work” or “I have to clean the house” or “I have to walk the dog” or “I have to complete this project”. Many of the things we feel we have to do aren’t that glamorous and, let’s be honest, a little boring and tedious.

So, let’s take a moment and switch that mindset up – focusing on adopting the statement “I get to” changes the dynamic of these seemingly mundane tasks and events. “I get to” means that’s it’s nothing short of a privilege and something to be thankful you are able to do. This adds more value even to the mundane and you begin to experience life in a more deep and mindful way. Give it a go! Write your typical “I have to” statement below then switch it out,

I have to………….


I get to…………….

It’s almost an instant shift, isn’t it?!
